Chennai Express is an upcoming film of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Gauri Khan under her production house Red Chillies Entertainment. This is the second movie of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone after the 2007 blockbuster hit Om Shanti Om. Chennai Express is about a man's journey from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and what happens along the way after he falls in love with the daughter of a don.

In this movie Shah Rukh Khan as Rahul, Deepika as Meena Lochni, Sathyaraj as Meena's father (Deepika's Father in the film), Nikitin Dheer as Tangaballi, Manorama as Meena's aunt, And comedy star Kapil Sharma is also in the movie. In chennai express Priyamani has done an item number. The movie is going to release on Aug 8, 2013.
